Boise State-Oregon: What Really Happened Between LeGarrette Blount and Byron Hout and Afterward (ESPN orders removal of video)
September 4, 2009 by dwil

Boise State fans watch the video board as LaGarrette Blount #9 of the Oregon Ducks is shown punching Byron Hout.
(I am sitting with a DVR of the event. This is an exact recounting of the Byron Hout- Legarrette Blount incident after Thursday night’s Boise State-Oregon game. And it is an exact recounting of the the nasty Boise State crowd’s reaction afterward.)
You must turn the other cheek even if someone becomes physical with you first —————- if you’re Black, that is. ESPN color announcer Bob Davie said:
It all started with Blount right there. He should be ejected for next week and if I’m Chip Kelly, he may be ejected longer than that.
As the clip was being shown, play-by-play announcer Mark Jones blurted:
LeGarrette Blount nailing Byron Hout right on the chin. (emphasis Jones’)
And then Jones took it that extra ESPN step and exclaimed:
We saw Oregon players fighting amongst themselves, too!
What Jones actually saw was wide receiver Garrett Embry holding Blount and yelling at him in a very demonstrative fashion and Blount pushing Embry off him. Embry stood stock still for a few seconds, shook his head, and walked away.
Jones continued:
Blount nailing Hout. That is unconscionable, reprehensible behavior. There’s no excuse, no excuse for that…. It would be no surprise if Blount is sanctioned for the next game.
The camera scene then shifts to the crowd where Blount is being man-handled by a local policeman two event staffers, and a University of Oregon assisstant coach. Joens goes off again:
He is still, still almost out of control right now.
Now police and other security have come in to try to calm down LeGarrette Blount the starting tailback for Oregon…. This is the young man, remember who was suspended and kicked out of the first practice this summer by his head coach for behavorial issues. Coaches had told us in our mettings earlier that LeGarrette Blount had transformed himself into a more mature player.
Then the replay is shown where Hout taps Blount on the helmet then hits his shoulder pads, laughing and jabbering something all the while. His head coach is restraining Hout when Blount turns, faces Hout, and punches him square in the jaw, briefly knocking Hout out.
Jones says of Hout’s actions:
Well, that appears to be a little bit of taunting.
But Davie interrupts Jones:
Sure! that’s because of the quote he gave about what he was going to do to Boise (Blount said Boise State deserves an “ass-whuppin’”)
Riiiiight! I get it! It’s just fine to taunt an opponent after the game, put your hands on him, right Bob Davie?! Hout’s act was just dandy! That’s why Boise State head coach, Chris Petersen was shoving him just after his totally uncalled-for actions.
Jones then stated:
It looks like coach is trying to take Hout out of the way after saying something obviously to Blount (still no mention of Hout putting his hand on Blount)…. Unfortunately a night that began with a sportmanship initiative prior to the game ends with this…
The camera scene shifts to Blount leaving the field with no one around him approaching screaming Boise State male students and male spectators. One student with a white Boise St. cap turned backwards is leaning over a barricade screaming at Blount. Another student is next to him with an orange BSU cap, also yammering at Blount.
Suddenly from the left of the television screen a man in his 40s who resembles a young Jerry Slaon (Utah Jazz head coach) comes down the steps and moves very quickly to get in front of Blount as he is about to enter the tunnel. The man screams, “Fuck you!” at Blount and is jabbing his index finger at Blount.
However, just before this another blond-haired man in his 30s with sunglasses on his head and a white tee-shirt can be seen yelling something at Blount as the Sloan look-alike passes in front of him. Just after his comment, the blond makes direct eye contact with a bald policeman who is staring back at him. The policeman continues his stare but the blond averts his eyes. Blount stops abruptly and turns to his left to go after the blond-haired man.
The policeman shoves Blount with his backside to the left of the blond and in front of a taller “fan” with a moustache, white BSU cap curved down, lesbian-butch style, with sunglasses perched on the cap. He is wielding a chair and draws it up, ready to swing it at Blount. At this moment the Sloan look-alike (with sunglasses tucked in his shirt collar) jumps in front of Blount and swings at the running back as hard as he can, open-handed, striking Blount in the face. The blond has also moved to the left and can be seen in front of blount screaming,”Fuck you! at Blount.
The bald policeman, rather than leave Blount with two event staffers and an Oregon assistant coach to arrest the man who struck Blount, grabs Blount and begins to forcefully shove him toward the tunnel.
As this scene is being shown Mark Jones is continuing (from above) to talk:
…this indelible image. LeGarrette Blount hearing it from the fans here at Broncos stadium and then Scott Frost, one of the Oregon coaches hppened to restrain Blount from going after them. This after Blount struck Byron Hout with a punch to the jaw…. Here’s how it all started right there. He [Blount] snuck him with a right hand. An inauspicious beginning for Chip Kelly.
Mark Jones, a Black man, could not find it within himself to do anything other than to feign abhorrence with Blount’s actions. He utterly failed to describe the scene accurately. He never mentioned that Hout put his hands on Blount. He never mentioned that the college football fans who are always held to a higher standard than are pro fans, were screaming expletives at Blount. Jones never mentioned that Blount was cracked in the face by an alleged fan.
And it was just fine for Bob Davie to completely exonerate Hout from blame because during the lead-up to the game, Blount said, “We owe that team an ass-whuppin’.”
And why did Blount say that? Because last season Broncos defenders took it upon themselves to continuously late-hit Oregon players, including administering blatant late hits to the Ducks quarterback and wide receivers. Though this fact was mentioned often in the lead-in to the game, somehow it was forgotten when it needed to be remembered most.
Now, for the next while LeGarrette Blount will find out what the press is all about. And it’s not about contextualizing incidents or events. In this case it will be about assigning blame. Should Blount have cracked Hout in the jaw? Under more normal societal circumstances, probably not. But in the context of just having playing a violent game like football where bad blood existed between the team for a year previous to this game the punch is much better understood.
But believe that for the most part the blame will be cast on Blount rather than shared as it should be. Remember LeGarrette, you must turn the other cheek, no matter what.
Apologize and move on. Apologize and move on.

The video:
At the 2:46 mark you can see the man who eventually hits Blount enter the picture from the left. At the 2:55 mark he has made his way directly in front of Blount. To his left is the blond-haired man with sunglasses perched on his head making eye contact with the policeman. Watch carefully from there. Blount gets quickly shoved back by the policeman. At the 2:58 mark you can see the man raising the chair. At the 2:59 mark the man swings at Blount. The two students react to the punch within the same time frame. Just after this. at the 3:00 mark you can see the blond-haired man once again standing to the left of the man who struck Blount; he is yelling at Blount. The man on the right of the screen looks over at the man who struck Blount and begins to put out his right arm to hold the man back. At this point the policeman should have moved to arrest the man who struck Blount. Instead, he redoubles his efforts to grab and move Blount.
——————————————
ESPN, in an effort to control the message concerning the incidents surrounding LeGarrette Blount, has informed Google that, to avoid legal action, they need to remove all videos relating to the incident that occurred after last night’s Boise State-Oregon game.
Why do I say this? The following are why:
————————————-
————————————
—————————————–
Get the picture?

I could only watch the 1st half, but did notice Oregon’s offense stalling out at the time…
I just hope these fans in other places don’t take it up a notch with the raucus behavior…
I’m starting to see why OK.St and GA “cancelled” their pre-game handshakes…
SMH
The incident is on youtube right here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=809oIybpH7E
Blount didn’t have a good game (8 carries for -5 yards, or something to that effect). You know both sides were talking smack the whole game.
Dan Patrick was saying they should kick Blount off the team. I don’t buy it. Give the guy 2 games. Regardless of the provocation, you can’t crack somebody in the jaw unless they crack you first. But you can’t dismiss the fact that the Boise player started the incident. I’m *shocked* nobody’s talking about any punishment for him. Maybe getting tattooed in the mouth is punishment enough?
As always my position is: if you are going to put your hands on somebody you better be ready for some blowback. For some reason old dude thought he could put his hands on somebody and not get a reaction? WTF is is problem-is he stupid?
Once again fans of a type get let of the hook for their behaviour also.
Seriously, you can try to justify it but I ain’t buying it. Buying a ticket to a college football game doens’t automatically mean you get to act like an obnoxious child
Oh and if we want to get technical about it: Blount possibly had every right to retaliate as he did. Guy came up behind him and pushed him while taunting, he was surrounded by opposing players, why wouldn’t he think that he was being battered and couldn’t escape the situation. Also, he didn’t hit him with a weapon-sounds all good to me. F*ck-em if he can’t take a punch.
awb-
Thank you for that. They were talking that, “Blount was provoked but he shouldn’t have retaliated” crap on Mike and Mike this morning. I wrote them an email explaining, among other things pretty much what you said. How do you get provoked and fail to respond when all you see, peripherally, is blue? And why didn’t the BSU player have his helmet on? If dude has his helmet on all we’re discussing today is a minor scuffle. If you saw the game you might have noticed the vast majority of the Oregon players had their helmets on after the game ended, including Blount. and he removed his helmet seemingly exasperated because he knew what was about to transpire when he went into the locker room and removed his helmet in anger at himself!
But it’s difficult for me to understand how, after having all these hours to dissect the video, how no one on ESPN has mentioned the fan so obviously chasing down and striking Blount….. same as it ever was.
Apparently the video has been removed!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can you get a screen grab of the moments in which the fans are taunting the guy? I watched a 2-minute, 20-second clip (since removed, I’m sure) and couldn’t see anybody resembling fans getting in the way of the guy. This video in question followed him all the way off the field and stopped when he was fully inside the door of the locker room. Perhaps I missed something.
Both of them ought to be suspended. Hout for pushing and egging on, Blount for the retaliation punch. And that fan should be at least charged with disorderly, if not worse.
There are still videos on You Tube. Perhaps you can find one and put your timeline on that.
By the way I laugh at these discussions about “sportsmanship” going on. In a country that tortures people??
LMFAO @ Blount. Nice right cross. Maybe he has a future in Boxing?
I’m with Jimmy, it was a good punch and against a much bigger man. Dude came correct!
Blount deserved the season for that punch. The Boise kid certainly agitated Blount, but the situation did not demand a sucker punch as a response.
I have made it perfectly clear with my high school football team that fighting will not be tolerated, whether the student-athlete is agitated by someone or not. An incident like that instantly, and deservedly, brings bad press to a program
Unfortunately, Blount should have turned the other cheek. Clerarly, the university is stating that self-control to the nth degree is required to play Oregon football. I bet it never happens again.
Please stop making excuses for these young men who make bad choices.
@ the coach, stop with the bull shit! Turn the other cheek sounds fine on paper, but it’s not realistic when College football and football on all levels is all about in your face, chest beating aggression. Sensible people agree that some form of consequences must be meted out to Blount, but the bull shit artists talking about turn the other cheek and Hout being the aggrieved party. The whole scenario as dwill described it is a reflection of America Inc. and its predilection with “nigger” baiting and a lynch mob mentality.
I wish Hout had said that to some of the crazy cats I used to play with. He would have been a messy spot on the turf.
Yeah, that’s the shit they have been telling black folks for years. Turn the other cheek when someone does some triflin’ shit to you. Fuck. that. shit.
He should transfer to a HBCU and tell thes fuckin’ pimps to kick rocks.
God, I am so sick of shit like this…
a tad aggressive sankofa…
With my season opener less than 24 hours away, I now have to worry if some of my athletes will leave a messy spot on the turf like the crazy cats you roll with.
People talk shit on the field…it happens. It’s not ok to go apeshit every time someone teases you.
These kids are getting away with this overly aggressive nonsense from middle school through high school and into college.
Turn the other cheek had better be a realistic option for the Oregon players or they won’t be able to play ball…plain and simple.
Surely you are talking about the player who ran up to Blount, put his hands on him in a threatening manner while Blount was surrounded by opposing players. Yes, that was very agressive and apparently people like you are implicitly endorsing it by totally ignoring what he did. Blount? Game was over. Self Defense. Almost the definition. He could successfully argue that he felt that he couldn’t retreat without getting hurt. If this was any other sport he would probably try to sue, but seeing this is football, he will probably beg for like a dog for his row in the cotton field back.
Seriously, this shit has almost ruined the beginning of my three day weekend.
@the coach…”These kids are getting away with this overly aggressive nonsense from middle school through high school and into college.”
Statements like this indicate you as a supposed role model as abdicating your responsibility to protect your charges from an environment of aggression and hate!
I am from the El Haj Malik Al Shabazz School of peace and love… if some one puts his hands on you send him to the cemetery. If your brethren coaches and fans don’t want to see it jump off, don’t preach and practice bull shit taunting and unsportsmanlike activities. If the leagues practice a clean and consistent form of sportsmanship, then when your players act all cavemen then you can say it’s on them. Until then, you preach restraint, teach them not to act the ass, but if some one acts the ass on them…get to banging!
sankofa…. i wish I could teach it that way…
Blount should have gotten at most 5 games. I too am sick of watching the legal system, a commissioner, conference, the court of public opinion or the bigots in the sports media feel like they always have to “send a message” or “make an example” of an athlete of color. I notice folks didn’t feel the need to have the league come down hard on Brett Favre to send a message that crackback blocks won’t be tolerated.
AWB, I’m feeling you. Coaches talk all that shit about being aggressive then when it bites them in the ass they pull out all of the bullshit about turning the other cheek. Real talk, if a guy got smacked in the face in practice and turned the other cheek the first words out of some of these hypocritical coaches mouths would be how little heart the guy had. I bet money the guys at Oregon are glad he busted that cat in the mouth.
Someone said they didn’t think we’d be seeing anymore punches from players that is bullshit. The more likely scenario is cats will be a lot more careful about who they talk shit to.
I hate to have to remind everybody, but SMACKING SOMEBODY IN THE JAW IS FELONY CRIMINAL ASSAULT! Not only does LeGarrette Blount deserve his season-long suspension, but the jerk should be locked up and doing time! If I were Byron Hout I would definitely proceed to file charges against him.
Failing in that attempt, I would make things personal and go after him in private. Payback is a mother-******. The sooner blacks start having to be accountable for their behavior, the better. Ask yourself, what if the situation had been reversed? What if WHITE Byron Hout had decked BLACK LeGarrette Blount? You can bet your ass that he’d be locked up and still in jail.
Juan Carlos
So you think Blount broke the law huh? Lets look at the NHL, they fight damn near every game and relatively few of those guys are African-American. Are they breaking the law? Why don’t we shine the spotlight of accountability on that sport where fighting is not frowned on it is actually cheered. Maybe those guys should start “being held accountable for their behavior.” You should remind the NHL that “SMACKING SOMEBODY IN THE JAW IS FELONY CRIMINAL ASSAULT.” See how far you get with that one.
Does law enforcement in every MLB city need to indict any one that rushes the mound and gives the pitcher a beat down for hitting with a pitch? A cat in the NBA catches an elbow and punches the guy that did it, he should be arrested? Quarterback in the NFL is hit late, offensive lineman punches the LB that did it, he should be prosecuted? Some people get awfully self-righteous when their is a man of color involved and awfully quiet when a white guy does it.
Also, don’t come on hear talking about how Black people need to be held accountable. Take that shit to a cross burning where folks believe that kind of bullshit. As a matter of fact, Black people are way too often held more accountable than Whites. Your boy Hout starts a fight, gets checked and who is held accountable not Hout but Blount.
Juan Carlos-
If that happened, of course there would be a fake media outrage, but Hout would not have been suspended the whole season (1 to 2 games), and the story would have died down much faster.
Hell, who knows if the commentators would even single him out? They might just refer to it in general terms as “some of the Boise State players and Oregon players are scuffling on the field, a sad sight for a game that started out with handshakes” and then cut to Sportscenter, where Tim Tebow just saved the lives of 14 schoolchildren just in case anyone gets the wrong idea about white athletes.
Juan Carlos,
If the same shit happened outside a football field with Hout putting his hands on Blount while surrounded by cats he thought was hostile, it would be a legitimate case of self defense. See Bernard Goetz. They don’t have to actually be hostile, he just has to think they are. And his reaction and video following the punch indicate that yes, he did think he was in a hostile situation where it would be reasonable for him to think that he could not escape the situation.
In other words ESPN is dropping another steaming load of BS.
I know this isn’t a part of the conversation, but as of 9/6/09 I’m reading Juan Carlos’ post while looking at an FX ad for “Sons of Anarchy” on this site…ROFLMBAO!!!
don’t mean to go off topic but…
I’ve been reading about the whole Shawne Merriman thing… what was that thing that ESPN said in regards to why they didn’t report the Ben Rothlisberger story? Something about waiting for the facts?
Well it’s nice to see they gave Merriman the same benefit of the doubt. They didn’t even report that the skank was probably drunk out of her mind the time it happened.
MACTOWN- Put down the Farrakhan rhetoric, stupid. Hout didn’t start a fight. He was taunting. If you really want to look at it realistically, Blount did the pussy shit and swung after Hout turned away..that’s called a sucker punch. Not only did he sucker punch Hout, then he backed off like Carmelo Anthony did after he snuffed Mardy Collins. That’s weak.
LMFAO @ Farrakhan playing Capt. Save a Ho…Good job, man. Let the bitch go get a DUI!
Jimmy, what the fuck do you know about Farrakhan to be calling his name out of turn?
And regards to this so called pussy punch… outside the boxing gym, there are no rules! Hit first, hit second and ask questions third!
Really? The pussy shit is trying start something while surrounded by your boys as Hout was. To me Blount looked like he wanted to take on all those punks.
I suppose if Blount was Puerto Rican ,Jimmy would have an entirely different take on what happened.
mactown hit the nail on the head. Unless you pull a Todd Bertruzzi and almost kill a man — no sports fan EVER pulls that ‘criminal assault” nonsense. There is no reaction in hockey and baseball simply because they are predominantly white sports. If they ever become predominantly black sports, that “part of the game” would change. In fact fighting basketball USED to be quite okay in basketball (and rampant) throughout the 50 and 60s and even the 70s and 80s. Today, basketball players can’t breathe on each other without getting double-technicals.
As for Blount, i thought the punch was quite hilarious, and can’t help laughing no matter how many times I see it (knowing Hout is perfectly fine and all). Should I feel guilty about this? On some level, Hout gets taught a meaningful lesson!
A 3 – 4 game suspension for Blount would have been appropriate, and anything else is the typical overreaction to black athlete misbehavior. If anyone REALLY cared that this doesn’t happen again, they would also favor suspending Hout one game. If they don’t favor it, then they have exposed themselves as really not caring about “sending any messages” that have any real meaning besides age-old double-standards.
I didn’t even know about this incident until late Friday. Even before seeing the race of Blount………….I knew he had to be black and hunt had to be white.
Just because of the uproar from the media.
One of the first things you learn in football is to keep your helmet on until you walk off the field.
Blount busted Hunt with a one quiter hitter. Brand Nubian would be proud………cause that punk sure as hell got beat down.
Sankofa and Modi I could agree more.
Another thing Dwil………what was the penalty for the Nebraska coach that knocked out the fan during the end of that game back in the late 90s (I believe).
Modi, that is the point dwill was trying to make. If the mini plantation was serious, the consequencies would’ve been as balanced as they could (fair is subjective), but to go further, they need to change they mindset of sports in America Inc. where machismo posturing and over the edge behaviour is comdemned where it hurts, in the pocketbooks and rosters of ALL institution, teams and league… alas then i woke up and the world remains the same!
Jimmy
I can come on here and speak like whomever I want as long as its cool with DWIL and MODI. You don’t like it you can meet me here in Atlanta and you can get the same thing Byron Hout got, a sore jaw and a seat on your ass!! You know so much you should be able to find a way to get a cheap ticket down here to shut me up. You internet tough guy! ha ha ha!!! Now sit down, shut up and when your mama is through slobbing my johnson your wife (if you have one) can have her turn, you light-weight eunuch (look it up if your ignorant ass don’t know what it means).
Anybody will tell you, when you talk shit u better be prepared to back it up. Hout DID start the fight by taunting Blount and putting his hands on him. You talk all that rah-rah about being from the streets you should no better than to talk noise and lay your hands on somebody if u aren’t ready to bring it. He got what he deserved.
As for somebody being weak. Let me tell you what weak is, weak is J-I-M-M-Y.
MACCLOWN- You wouldn’t know a “Johnson” if a Puerto Rican slapped you in the nose with one. Hout was sucker punched. We all know that, unless you’ve never been in a fight before. In the streets, Blount wouldn’t have snuffed Hout like that. Guys like Blount know there are people there to break up fights, so he got open, only AFTER Hout turned his face.
AWB- Since Carmelo Anthony is half Puerto Rican, I’m going to go there and say he punched like a Puerto Rican while his half black side decided to retreat. If he were full blooded Boricua, he wouldn’t have backed up..lmfao.
SANKOFA- Farrakhan is the same asshole who tried recruiting Puerto Ricans and got laughed at by my people in Spanish Harlem. That’s all I need to know about that prick. A leftover of a Jamaican cab driver from the Boogie Down BX, it’s our misfortune to know the Bronx gave birth to this idiot. Too bad Farrakhan FAILED as a calypso singer. LMFAO @ Farrakhan trying to teach/preach to Puerto Ricans/NuYoricans that they’re black….SMH
Sankofa, agreed.
Jimmy, when a racist cop has a night stick upside your head, it has been well-documented in NYC that he really doesn’t care whether you identify yourself as PR.
But beyond that point, you are crossing lines of respect. Not the first time, just on another level this time.
Jimmy,
As usual your sh*t is weak as hell. Is this seriously all you got? “Puerto Ricans are better than everybody else”. For real? Get outta here with the Boricrap please. Come with something more original. I like the stories where you lie about going to prison, being club owner, bouncer, boxer, adventurer, Batman ect, ect.
Those were more creative.
fellas i too have learned that allowwing James the Puerto Rican to defecate all over himself will identify the kind of an animal he is… an animal! i stop getting mad on the computer over some insect that hates himself so much, he expamnds his importance by getting low down and dirty, since he has no other means of articulation.
mactown forget about that kind of stuff, his mother already burned his name from the family cave, no use dogging her.
awb, spot on and don’t forget he was the prototype for GI joe and the terminator.
Well said Sankofa!
Orgin says
“I didn’t even know about this incident until late Friday. Even before seeing the race of Blount………….I knew he had to be black and hunt had to be white.”
Yep, there was absolutely no doubt in my mind.
Seriously, Jimmy is a clown.
MODI- It was Puerto Ricans who began the push for more minority NYPD officers to get on the job in the 90′s after a rash of police brutality cases against our people. You RARELY see Puerto Ricans the victims of bias incidents by the NYPD. Hopefully everyone will see the day when the NYPD stops the harrassment towards all minorities. I grew up with Anthony Baez. Google his name if you need info. I know all about the accidental backhand remark you made to me and I don’t take it personal. Unlike a few of the posers on this site, I actually have suffered through NYPD harrassment. There’s no crying here, man. We don’t cry in the B X.
AWB- You take the internet too seriously, son. Get a hobby or a woman or an extra woman. The extra woman always works out, trust me. We Puerto Rocks know about the extra woman. Need to learn how to REEEEEEEEEELAX. If Carmelo were half white instead of black, you and a few others, would have been on the floor laughing at my joke. Get a grip.
SANKOFA- I don’t like Farrakhan. Shoot me……Just another politician-like religious zealot who rides religion to financial independence off the backs of people foolish enough to toss money at his religious institution. Religions are used to acquire wealth from unsuspecting folks who assume they’re going to a better place after death if they follow “x” religion. Much like AVOID GAYFEATHER PPV fights, no religion gets my paper. Money much better spent on paying my cable bill.
Jimmy,
No really. Tell the one about you being in the Special Forces. That one always makes me smile.
AWB- Or we can REALLY make everyone by YOU telling the board how Toy Jones Jr. was a clean fighter, how Bernard Chumpkins WASN’T fighting on ESPN2 before Tito pulled him out of the dumpster, or how Barry Bonds never took ONE illegal substance, or how AVOID GAYFEATHER has NOT been ducking the best fighters in the world since 2005. 5 different weight class champion my fucking ass..LMFAO
That would be more potent than the best laughing gas a dentist can provide.
awb, MODI, mactown…
There is an ancient African saying: “Be careful of being seen arguing with a fool, for people passing by will thing you are one and the same!”
I last had an argument with a fool over at TSF and vowed never to do so again, but dude acted like he was auditioning for a comedy tour. All they do is digress into insults and name calling and based on the level of intelligence that is what they do best.
Save your debate for people who can stay on track as well as be articulate and logical! I can only speak for myself in that I am learning not to fall for the distractions.
Sankofa,
Duly noted.
True that Sankofa!
SANKOFA- Did I educate you a little? Shocked you that I know my Bronx history? Lemme guess. You’re one of these Farrakhan lovers who don’t really know jack shit about who he really was in his pre-religion days.Dude grew up in the white section of the Bronx as a bookworm.
You come off like some suburban raised prick that can’t believe a guy who was raised in the ghetto can hold a decent conversation. Throwing indirect insults is the work of women. Men insult directly. I don’t throw insults because I can’t communicate. If that’s the case, look at it like this, son. I’m LOWERING myself to speak to someone I view as not being on my level. That’s why I use insults. Don’t get the taffy twisted. Just be a man, accept that you got trumped on Farrakhan and keep it moving.
